CATHY POWELL - FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Cathy grew up with Rheumatoid Arthritis and has experienced many periods of disabling pain and lack of mobility.
She started training dogs over 60 years ago and understands at a very deep level
the value and comfort that a service dog can provide.
NOW PROVIDING CLASSES TO TEACH YOU HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DOG
For the past 15 years, Loving Angel has bred
our own dogs and trained them and their handlers to be awesome Service Dog Partners.
What we have found over the years is that the dogs who went to our Puppy Raisers for the first year or so had a delightful foundation to their training from all the
one-on-one attention.
With that in mind, we have created a training program that allows individuals to bring their own dogs to our classes so they can be "Puppy Raisers" and learn how to train with our scientific, loving and positive reinforcement methods.
This model creates a solid and loving bond between handler and dog and assures the best framework to create a beautiful and successful partnership.
We teach how to train for
MOBILITY ASSISTANCE, DIABETIC ALERT,
PTSD, AUTISM SUPPORT
AND BEING A GOOD FAMILY PET
We understand that everyone - and their needs - are unique, which is why we customize our training program for each dog/handler team. Between classes, participants have online access to our informative training videos.
We gift our classes and expertise to U.S. Military Veterans as well as First Responders.
